Recovery Blueprint™

Recovery Blueprint™

Building Philadelphia’s Recovery Ecosystem Together

A Community Initiative by UPIC Health

When someone is ready for recovery…

the community must be ready too.

Recovery Blueprint™ is a community initiative designed to coordinate—not duplicate—the extraordinary organizations already serving Philadelphia’s most vulnerable residents.

Our mission is simple:

To ensure that when someone is ready to accept help, the community is ready to respond—immediately, compassionately, and together.

Current Initiative

Kensington Recovery Blueprint™

UPIC Health is currently building a coalition of healthcare, behavioral health, housing, public safety, judicial, faith-based, and community organizations to improve long-term recovery outcomes for individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use disorder in Kensington, Philadelphia.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Technology Supporting Human Relationships

Recovery Blueprint™ is built upon the same philosophy that has guided UPIC Health for more than a decade.

Technology should never replace human relationships.

It should strengthen them.

Recovery happens one relationship at a time. By combining dedicated Peer Recovery Partners with secure technology, coordinated community partnerships, and long-term engagement, Recovery Blueprint™ creates continuity where fragmentation once existed.

The Recovery Blueprint™

Step 1

Community Engagement

Individuals are identified through community organizations, healthcare providers, public safety, Wellness Court, faith-based organizations, or other trusted partners.

Step 2

Clinical Stabilization

Participants are connected with licensed treatment providers for medical stabilization, behavioral healthcare, withdrawal management, wound care, and other appropriate clinical services.

Step 3

Recovery Center

Each participant is introduced to a dedicated Peer Recovery Partner, receives technology onboarding, and begins a structured long-term recovery plan.

Step 4

Long-Term Recovery Support

Peer Recovery Partners maintain continuous contact through secure video visits, phone calls, messaging, appointment coordination, and ongoing encouragement.

Step 5

Rebuilding

Participants work toward stable housing, employment, financial capability, improved health, and lasting recovery.

WHY RECOVERY BLUEPRINT™

Recovery is a community responsibility.

Recovery Blueprint™ does not replace existing organizations.

It connects them.

By coordinating communication, relationships, and participant transitions across organizations, Recovery Blueprint™ helps communities work together toward better outcomes.
